Chris Petefish has over 20 years of competitive golf success. His history includes being a top 5 recruit in the 2014 High School graduating class and playing college golf at Georgia Tech. Chris was ranked inside the top 45 amateurs in the world, and has been a Korn Ferry Tour member the last three seasons.

Strokes Gained Platform Placement
With Chris Petefish, you are going to learn the importance of why you need to track your golf data, but where do you start and which of the many platforms fits your needs? Chris Petefish is certified in all the major strokes gained analysis platforms and will ensure you have the right fit.
Personalized Strokes Gained and Course Approach Consultations
Now that you have a strokes gained platform and have inputed some rounds, do you know exactly what to do with the information? Taking the information out of context will do more harm than good to your performance. Chris will draw on his expertise to explain your scores. Learn what drives your success and how simple changes will lead to rapid improvement. Chris has an innate ability to take complex data and apply it to work for you. Some of these examples include improvements from course strategy, potential anomalies in the data, and even suggesting course fits to give you that extra edge on the competition.
Course Management

Player to Coach Cheat sheets
At Course of Action Golf, we are not here to replace your swing or be a short game coach. We want to optimize the way in which you work with your coach. Based on your golf data, Chris will create a collaborative document highlighting current strengths of your game, as well as specific areas of improvement for you and your coach to attack together.
College Preparation & Tournament Preparation
Let Chris guide you through navigating the journey into college golf, and how to best be equipped to play great golf once you arrive. Learn how to prepare during a practice round the way the PGA Tour professionals do. There are tournament preparation hacks the top players in the world use and Chris can teach you.
In Person Work
Spend either a half or full day with Chris Petefish going through a combination of how course strategy intertwines with strokes gained. Chris will meet with you to have a pre-meeting overview and gain knowledge on your game in order to be prepared for the day. There is an option for a 9 or 18 hole half day or full day program. Chris will discuss strokes gained platform placement and everything that encompasses course strategy as well as answer any questions you may have.
The Fish Tank
The Fish Tank is a unique opportunity to work with a professional golfer as a part of an ongoing partnership that includes all the above services, including valuable in-person mentorship. Chris will have access to track your player’s data on a daily basis, much like a financial planner tracks his or her client’s portfolio. Chris will then be able to communicate with the client via the chosen platform to debrief on their rounds and then recommend practice drills moving forward. There will be a limited amount of roster spots available for The Fish Tank to ensure every client receives the highest quality of service.

Moneyball, the critically acclaimed movie starring Brad Pitt, tells the story of how the game of baseball was forever changed when statistics were analyzed on a deeper level to help players score more runs. Chris is here as the "Moneyball" of your golf game, someone who will utilize your statistics to lower your scores in the same way. The exciting thing about golf compared to baseball, however, is golf is a much more complex sport when it comes to the many facets of the game that account for scoring. This means increased opportunities to improve scoring through statistical analysis.

Players have so many statistic tracking app options today. It is hard to know which one is best suited for your needs. Furthermore, do you know how to interpret the data you are receiving? It is critical to understand the specifics of all your data in order to know exactly where you are losing shots and how to practice most effectively, ultimately scoring lower.
After missing his college postseason travel team for the first time his Junior year at Georgia Tech, Chris found the missing link. He taught himself the proven course management system and how to utilize strokes gained analysis to transform his game. Chris went from feeling frustrated by not getting the most out of his rounds and talent to becoming a Top 45 amateur in the world just six months later. Chris has a gift for interpreting data and will use that skill to read beyond the numbers any platform can provide, to then maximize your talents and success on the course.
