JUNIOR GOLF IS COMPLICATED TO NAVIGATE

COA Golf Take The Journey With You

Course of Action Golf, LLC is a professional consulting firm providing over 15 years of competitive planning for junior golfers. We create the optimal tournament package for your junior golfer to attain both their short and long-term goals. Our clients include national and international juniors. We take the mystery out of points and rankings, help define the road to the AJGA and other national tours and explain how to navigate from local to regional to national junior events. We outline opening and closing dates, how one tournament can lead to another tournament, and assist with golf resumes and college recruiting. Whether your junior golfer is 10 or 17, a solid golf plan is both smart and financially savvy. Most junior golfers have swing coaches, mental coaches, and work-out programs, but who is your tournament coach? Everyone has a little information, but we have all the details to give you an edge. Our program is private and confidential, and our client interaction produces a competitive tournament schedule designed exclusively for your junior golfer. Our program will eliminate wasted time, reduce unnecessary travel, diminish costs, and eliminate the confusion of tournament planning. It is our mission to deliver your junior golfer a plan to compete at the premiere tournaments, hosted by the finest local, regional, and national associations, affording them an opportunity to attain the highest rankings, and placing them in the best light to have their game noticed.

JUNIOR GOLF OVERVIEW

UNDERSTANDING THE ROAD AHEAD

When is it time to play in regional or national events? Is traveling a good idea for your player? Just starting out in tournament golf? Tournament prep, building status with stars and resumes, building a successful junior career.

There is not one answer for everyone, each junior has their own set of circumstances. Our clients are serious about pursuing junior golf at an elite level along with securing a spot to play college golf.

ITS ALL IN THE DETAILS

TOURNAMENT GOLF IS ABOUT THE LITTLE THINGS

The game is hard to control on your best day so how can you find an "edge" over the competition? It's all in the details and the best players know this. How you prepare for an event is everything. From sleep, nutrition, weather it's the details on and off the course that matter. How you travel to an event and adjust to a time change can make all the difference in outcome. Did you pack your rain gear, change your grips, google earth the course? Did you play a proper practice round before the tournament?

STANDING OUT

HOW CAN A JUNIOR GOLFER STAND OUT?

Do you have to travel around the country to get noticed? What can help you stand out besides your golf score? How can you use rankings to your advantage and which ones matter and why. There is a strategy to when you play and how that will help you meet your goals. Strategic mapping of events is a key to standing out amongst the competition.

BEING READY TO BE RECRUITED

WHAT IS IMPORTANT IN THE RECRUITING PROCESS?

Do you have to travel around the country to get noticed by college coaches? What can help you stand if you are not one of the top 10% of junior golfers in your state? You need to let college coaches know you are interested. Many juniors are recruited and commit prior to coaches being able to email or call them. How does this happen? There are a number of steps you can take that will establish interest with coaches. Don't get lost in a sea of digital resumes and cookie cutter approaches when there are things you can do!
